Council requests input of Attorney General in fairground campsite decision

Following much debate over the issue at a lengthy meeting, the Eagle Grove City Council voted to require the fairboard to come back with a better plan for use of fair campgrounds as it pertains to possible temporary residecy for mobile construction workers. They will also pursue and opinion from the Attorney General’s office for the same.

The move followed a report from City Administrator George McGuire on a meeting he attended with the Wright County District Junior Fair Board last week.
