Jim Mohr

 James Harlan Mohr, the son of James G. and Marilyn Y. (Willey) Mohr Sr., was born June 11, 1956 in Fort dodge, Iowa.  He attended Eagle Grove schools and Iowa Central Community College for Broadcasting Journalism in 1987.

 

     Jim worked for K.Q.W.C. in Webster City for a short time after college and most recently as a bartender for L and L’s in Woolstock for over 20 years.

 

    Jim was an avid New York Yankees and Indianapolis Colts fan.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting for arrow heads.  Jim also played the drums in different bands including Damaged Goods and the Jamm Band.  

 

    Jim passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at his home in Eagle Grove at the age of 64 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mike.

 

    Survivors include his son, Christopher Mohr of Fort Dodge; brothers, Kenneth Mohr and wife Penny of Eagle Grove and Ronald Mohr of Eagle Grove; sister, Shelly Mohr of Eagle Grove and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

    Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
