Lorraine Pergande

On Friday December 11 , 2020, Lorraine Pergande, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 92.  Formerly of Eagle Grove, Iowa, she died at Southfield Care Center in Webster City, Iowa. 

 Lorraine was born near Lott’s Creek, Iowa. to John and Cordia (Speicher) Heiderscheidt.  She married Delton Krause in 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1948.  She was married to Everett Eimers from 1950 to 1953. She was married to Lewis J. Pergande, Sr. from 1955 to 1969. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Raymond and Henry Heiderscheidt, one son, David Allen Eimers and one grandson, John Patrick Hawkins.

 Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lynn (Ramona) Krause of Waterloo,Ia, Ellen Krause of Webster City, Ia, Kent (Laura) Eimers of Spring Branch, Texas, Lewis J. (Michelle) Pergande, Jr. of Jewell, Ia, Linda (Dan) Hawkins of Dallas Center, Ia, Carol (Joe) Hill of Rock Rapids, Ia and Carl (Vonda) Pergande of Spring Branch, Texas, 18 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

 A graveside service for family only will be held on Dec 15,2020 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church cemetery @ Lott’s Creek, Iowa.

 Mom was a kind, humble and very caring person who always put her family first. She worked as a nurse's aide in Eagle Grove at the Rotary Ann nursing home for many years and Kramersmeier Drug. While she spent most of her life in Eagle Grove, Iowa, she also lived in Humboldt, Alaska and Adel, Iowa to be close to her children and grandchildren throughout the years. She would take meals (accustomed to cooking for a large family) to many and assist anyone within the community - ever a caregiver with a BIG heart. Our mom was a strong Christian example and taught her children to love God, work hard, and that honesty is always the best policy. She went straight from death to life eternal wrapped in the arms of the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
