New barber shop set to open downtown Eagle Grove

It’s been a number of years since Eagle Grove has had their very own barber, so it’s no wonder there’s so much buzz around town about Babcock’s Barber Shop coming to 211 W. Broadway.

Anthony Babcock, owner of Babcock’s Barber Shop, isn’t even officially open yet, and he’s already had people booking appointments. He said he’s mostly just been doing family and friends for the time being while he works on remodeling his new business himself. But on Saturday, March 31, he plans to be open to the public and will celebrate with a Grand Opening - offering half-priced haircuts from noon to 5 p.m., and remaining open for a few hours after that just to meet people and welcome them in to see his shop.
