Whitetails Unlimited Greenbelt Chapter sponsoring Honor Flight veteran

The Brushy Creek Honor Flight is preparing to take their fifth plane load of veterans to Washington D.C. this coming May, and thanks to the generosity of the Whitetails Unlimited Greenbelt Chapter, one of those veteran’s trip is already completely paid for.

Jeff Kerch, president of the Greenbelt Chapter, presented a check for $600 last week to Julie Reed, a representative of the Brushy Creek Honor Flight. Kerch said the money was raised during their annual banquet held recently. The Whitetails Unlimited group agreed the Honor Flight is a worthy cause to support as some of their members are veterans themselves.
