Working Woman of the Year nominations sought

We all know at least one woman, and more realistically - several women, who go above and beyond to give back to their community, church, school, and more. Although they undoubtedly do it because of their passion for the project at-hand, wouldn’t it be nice to acknowledge that individual who volunteers again and again?

Maybe she’s a business owner, a stay-at-home mom, a “worker bee,” or the friendly face that greets you when you walk into one of the stores/businesses in Eagle Grove.

No matter what she does, her work most likely doesn’t quit when the clock says five o’clock.

Here’s your chance to let people know how much she does. Each year, the Eagle Grove Ambassadors, a division of the Chamber of Commerce, honors one woman in our community who has worked hard to make a difference without seeking any recognition for herself, by awarding the Working Woman of the Year Award, but she can’t win if she’s not nominated. They need to know who you think is the most deserving of this award. Men, women, students, friends…anyone can nominate their favorite working woman from the Eagle Grove area. In fact, everyone is encouraged to make a nomination. It only takes a few minutes. If you have nominated a woman in the past, but she has not ever received the award, be sure to nominate her again as names from past years will not automatically be considered.
